While searching, I found and watched a YouTube video of a woman going to Kamakura, Japan. Throughout the video, the woman communicates what she was seeing and doing all in Japanese. This video made me realize how much more I need to learn and practice regarding Japanese, but also the progress I have made so far:) I was able to understand certain words and also read what was shown on the screen. I enjoyed learning about Kamakura and the wonderful place it seems to be. Hope I can visit one day!
After watching a couple videos from the YouTube channel, Akane-JapaneseClass , I decided to watch their video on ordering coffee in Japanese. Conversation for ordering coffee in Japanese Watching their videos has given me the chance to learn real life conversations and situations in Japanese. They give you a perspective of going to a place where English isn't used, and what is looks and sounds like. Throughout the video you not only see them ordering coffee and food in Japanese but also the polite and proper etiquette. I definitely plan to continue watching and learning from these videos of life in Japan.
This week I watched a vlog by the YouTube channel, Akane-Japanese Class , where the Japanese youtuber designs her videos to help the viewer better understand the train system in Japan, specifically the Japanese used at the train station and shops as well. She provided various examples and used repetition to help the viewer. I really liked this video because it allowed me to see real life scenarios using Japanese that can help me improve my own language skills. I was also able to recognize and understand a lot more words in this video compared to videos I had watched in the past. I look forward to watching more!😀
