Japan-related Video

While searching, I found and watched a YouTube video of a woman going to Kamakura, Japan. Throughout the video, the woman communicates what she was seeing and doing all in Japanese. This video made me realize how much more I need to learn and practice regarding Japanese, but also the progress I have made so far:) I was able to understand certain words and also read what was shown on the screen. I enjoyed learning about Kamakura and the wonderful place it seems to be. Hope I can visit one day!

  1. Hey Jazmin, I gave the first couple minutes of the Youtube video a listen, and I agree that I'm going to need to gain a lot more familiarity with the language, but also enjoying the bits and pieces I am able to understand. I'm going to be studying abroad in Japan this spring, so I have a bit of a deadline to hone my skills before I go! Maybe I'll visit Kamakura while I'm there!

  3. This vlog was really interesting! I also realized that I need to learn and practice Japanese a lot more to fully understand what she's saying without the subtitles. Thanks for sharing this vlog! I feel like these types of videos would be helpful in practicing our Japanese listening comprehension.
